Following their win in 2013, the top spot amongst Michigan clubs in 2014 was again grabbed by the Cherryland Amateur Radio Club, with a score of 305,971 points.  The secret to their success was similar to 2013 - combining two large scores (the N8KV #2 multi-single and N8TC's #2 single-op low power entries) plus five other smaller scores, for seven entries total.

The second place club, the Blossomland Amateur Radio Association, last won the Michigan Club Competition in 2012, then fell to fifth place in 2013, but recovered nicely in 2014.  Despite regaining their "big gun" (Earl, N8SS, the #3 single-op low power station) and putting eight member stations on the air in the contest, they came up just a little bit short in the race against Cherryland, but still finished with a healthy 236,570 points.

In third place is last year's second place club, the Ogemaw-Arenac Amateur Radio Society, with 190,270 points.  OAARS had only four entries, but one of those was the #1 single-op high power entry from K8BZ, which in combination with three other smaller club entries was enough to grab the third spot.

In second place was the Tennessee Contest Group with 8,403 points, moving up nicely from their tenth place finish in 2013  TCG had only two entries, but one of those was the #8 Eastern Region single-op score from K4WW.

Following behind the TCG in third place in the Out-Of-State Club leaders box was the South East Contest Club with 3,674 points.  SECC was the eleventh place Out-of-State Club in 2013, but stepped up to finish in third place in 2014.
