Thanks, see you all next year! - AB1QP  Had lots of fun working my first MiQP!  Good propagation on 40 and after dark, also on 80 - AC8JF  Between the attic antenna and the north blocking mountain, I couldn't hear much - AD8J  This is my first time operating in the MiQP, activating our local club call.  I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the amazing MI ops - AD9L  Just "Sunday driving" when I encountered the MiQP on 20 meters. Submitting my e-log so the MI QSOs can receive credit for a QSO with a NM operator. Didn't  get the sequence number for K8XXX. Sorry - AE5ZX  Just a few contacts, sorry could not take part longer - DL3DXX  A recent personal best for QRP in a somewhat "rare" county.  Many thanks to the village of Howard City, which gave special permission to operate at the White Pine Trail staging area after normal 10 PM closing time, and the excellent facilities provided in this park.  And finally, thanks to the organizers of the MiQP for a fabulous event - K6JSS  Lots of intentional QRM and jamming - K8BTT  Fought poor 40M conditions. Lots of good activity however - K8GVK  Nice weather, conditions not as good - K8IR/m  Before the MiQP started, I saw there weren't any planned operations for Tuscola country. Since its only a short drive from my home QTH, I decided to put it on the air from A roadside park south of Vassar on M15 with a G5RV and IC-706. I had a hard time getting anything going on 20M so I dropped down to 40M and the band was in great shape. I operated about 4 hours, then headed back to Genesee country to operate from my home station - K8MAD (op. K8MM)  I got on for the last few hours of the contest from my home station for about the same amount of QSOs from K8MAD in Tuscola county - K8MM  Strange condx. 80M was noisy and not very busy until late in the contest. It was nice to see 40M noise-free and usable for the entire contest. But 20M died earlier than we expected. Still, a good contest - K8MQP  For the first time in year we saw no snow during MiQP, either in the air or on the ground - K8MR/m  Well, not much of a score. SSB sounded like mush at the start and CW runs were short. Operator and station gave out after battling it for a few hours. I promise to try again next year. Note to OM2VL: someday we will make a 20M SSB QSO - K8SIA  Thanks to Jeff, N8CC for hosting our motley crew again. For the first time ever, we had 10 transmitters going, one on each band-mode - K8XXX  Did not have much time but had fun - KE8UM  Wish I could have operated more. The bands were terrible but it was fun - KG8JK  Hoping to get a few entries for the Indiana QSO Party the following weekend - KJ9C  Operated a few hours Saturday after a meeting. CW activity was slow but good signals. Did not hear many mobiles - KN4Y  WOW!!! This was the first time that I've had the chance to operate this event. I had a ton of fun. Lots of activity to keep things moving. Found lots of fixed stations in addition to the mobiles running around the state. Special thanks to the mobiles. Hope to have the chance to see you all again next year - KV8Q  Couldn't make it to my lake station in Wisconsin, so operated from the home station part time with just my 40M vertical. Things are not the same when restricted to one band - N0IJ  My 4th MiQP - N1NN   Thanks again to the sponsors and all the stations, both fixed and mobiles.  This was 12 hours of fun - N4PN  Always a good time - N8FYL
Thanks to all the casual operators out there who handed out QSOs. Hope to see all of your next year - N8SBE  Great contest as usual. See you all next year - ND3R  After entering from fixed location for many years, I decided to try a solo mobile operation. I only have QRP in the car, so I figured I'd be in for a challenge. Thanks to all I worked and hope to see you next year - NF8M   Condx not so good as last weekend during the Georgia QSO party. Made a little bit less QSOs than last year, but more mults and final score same as in 2011. 15M had good condx, but only a few stations from MI. On 80M I heard a few stations, but they were very weak - only 3 QSOs...last weekend during the GaQP I made 27 QSOs on 80M. Missed counties: ALCO, ALLE, ALPE, BRAN, CHIP, ISAB, KEWE, KZOO, OSCO, OTTA, ROSC, SANI, SHIA, STJO, TUSC, VANB. Thanks for the FB QSO party again - OM2VL QRP FT817 at 5W - SP6JOE  Had a great time. Thanks to all the mobile stations, who made it fun - VE5KS  Rig was FTDX5000 (150W) and Butternut HF6V vertical. Nice activity. Lots of mobile contacts - thanks - W1END Another great QSO party - I look forward to Michigan every year - great coverage and great operators - looking forward to 2013 - W1KDA   Got a late start as I spent part of Saturday at a local hamfest and then did yard work since the wx was so nice. Did get on and found lots of activity.  CU next year - W2UDT  K3 @ 1W - 3 EL yagi and 80M horizontal loop at 75' - W4QO   Our last contact (#211) was with W8CT in MISSAUKEE county also his #211 - W8AWE  Band was in and out but had a good time. Didnt meet my goal to exceed last year's numbers, but there's always next year. Thanks to all and sorry I missed some of you because of QSB - W8DW  2012 - My first MiQP - great fun - W8EFM  Only had an hour due to other plans but made the most of that hour for my second MiQP. Wish it has been mobile. Maybe next year - W8FSM  I have problems with CW numbers, so worked SSB only - W8KNO  Bands were OK this year - W8M (op. N8MRC)  Another great MiQP. QRP this year from Branch county. Loads of fun and thanks for all the QSOs - W8CUB (op. WB2REI)  What a lovely morning for stringing antennas and pulling feed lines, which was part of the reason for us being late to start, along with logging program woes again. We ran 6 stations for the first 8 HOURS, but only 5 for the full time, all under 100W. 2 stations were dedicated to CW and the others were phone. Bands were really strange this year with total stations operating down, but 20 thru 10 were usable - W8OAK  I could only get on for half of this one, due to family emergencies - WA6KHK  Not bad for QRP and 9 hours of operating. Thanks for the QSOs - WA8REI  My first MiQP - WA8Y   CW was much friendlier than SSB - WB3JKQ   Checklog only. Thanks for hosting the contest - WB7TPH  Lost my beam (shorted) early in the contest, so stayed on 40 and 80 - WB8WKQ
